Josquin works really well for just about every situation except maybe sex. And that might be negotiable.
On Holy Thurdsday/Maundy Thursday I went to a church in Manhattan that ended the Service with the Miserere Mei of Allegri. Most people do not know this work by the composer name, which is obscure at best, but the work is often oddly familiar to people who have listened to classical radio over the years. It split into 3 choirs: 1 men plainchant, and two mixed antiphonal choirs in a big church with two galleries. It was the most magnificent a capella experience of the entire year. So if you get a chance to hear the work, imagine it broken into 3 choirs.
